What is MDMA
1 September 2008“MDMA” are the four initial letter of a compound that has caused serious headaches to authorities worldwide; the compound 3-4 methylenedioxy-methamphetamine is also known as a “designer drug” and called by many different names in the streets and certain social circles: “Adam”, “Ecstasy”, “E”, “X-TC” are some of its names.
One of the “charms” of this drug is that it breaks the protective barriers that every single human creates that is also known as “life space” and which generally consists on a circle of your arm’s length. Nonetheless, many problems have been analyzed and determined that they can come out from the use of this drug, such as:
• Psychological Confusion, depression, sleeping disorders, anxiety and paranoid episodes
• Physical increase in heart rate and blood pressure, nausea, blurred vision, fainting, chills, sweats, rapid eye-movements
The biggest consumers of MDMA are generally students and young professionals recently graduated from colleges and universities and even though it is not necessarily that all of the previously named problems will appear, laboratory experimentation does state that problems such as Parkinson’s disease might onset earlier due to the use of this substance.
Of course, it is not a certainty that everyone who consumes MDMA will develop Parkinson’s, but if the genetic is there, the chances of an early onset will raise up to a 60%.
